Areas of Specialisation 

Dr Jun How Low provides specialist perioperative care and anaesthesia services for a wide range of surgical specialties. His specific interests include perioperative medicine, managing shared airway cases, vascular anaesthesia and regional anaesthesia. 

Professional Experience 

Jun obtained his Primary Medical Degree in 2013 at the University of Queensland after completing his Bachelor Honours Degree in Biomedical Sciences. He subsequently underwent specialist training in Anaesthesia at various hospitals across Queensland and obtained his Fellowship in 2022 after spending a year at the Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital, with specific focus in airway and vascular anaesthesia.  

Jun is currently a staff specialist working in both the Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital and Queen Elizabeth II (QEII) Jubilee Hospital and holds a Senior Lecturer title with the University of Queensland. Jun also actively engages in teaching and education with the Clinical Skills Development Services, facilitating as an instructor in courses such as Effective Management of Anaesthetic Crises (EMAC) and Anaesthetic Crisis Resource Management (ACRM). 

Other Interests 

Outside of work, Jun looks forward to spending precious time with his wife and toddler son.
