Dr Mahadnac provides anaesthesia services for most surgical specialties, with specific interest in head and neck cancer anaesthesia.

Professional Experience
Dr Mahadnac spent her trainee and registrar years at various hospitals across Australia, concluding with her fellowship year in Darwin in 2022 with a focus on complex airway cases. During this time, she also worked extensively with first nations communities.

Namy is accredited at a number of private hospitals across Brisbane, and is based at the Princess Alexandra Hospital for her public work.

Namy is a published contributor to the ANZCA Blue Book for her research on obstetric anaesthesia in rheumatic heart disease, and is involved in the ANZCA educators program to teach anaesthetists to become better teachers.

Other Interests

When not working, Namy is a keen runner who enjoys taking up ridiculous running festivals and “training” at the last minute to make 10K
