Dr Morgan provides anaesthesia for the majority of operations, with special interests in ENT , Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery , Orthopedics and Obstetrics.

Professional Experience

Dr Morgan completed his medical degree in 2012 at the University of Notre Dame in Fremantle, W.A. Following this, he worked in Darwin and Melbourne before commencing anaesthetic training in Queensland. 

Rhys has worked throughout various hospitals in south-east Queensland and undertook a fellowship in anaesthesia for complex head and neck surgery at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, obtaining his FANZCA in 2022. He subsequently undertook post fellowship training in paediatric anaesthesia at Queensland Children’s Hospital.  

Rhys is currently working publicly at Logan Hospital and is developing his private practice in several hospitals around Brisbane. 

Other Interests

Outside of work, Rhys values spending time with family and his two beagles. He also enjoys a good game of squash.
