The doctors of Independent Specialists Management and the administration team want to provide you with the best care and support. A medical procedure, no matter how ‘minor’, can be a period of stress and uncertainty for you or a loved one. To help you, there is general information about anaesthesia and preparation for procedures contained on our website and on the website for the Australian Society of Anaesthetists.
If you have specific queries that are not covered by this information we welcome you to contact the administration team via email or call us between 7:30am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday on 07 3847 4255. We will do our best to provide you with answers to your queries.
As part of our commitment to your care, we welcome your feedback (positive and negative) on the service and support your anaesthetist or our administration team have provided to you. You may receive a survey from your anaesthetist after your procedure and we encourage you to complete this survey.
Complaints Policy
If you have an issue or area where you feel the service or support provided to you was not appropriate, we would like to hear from you so it can be addressed. We have a Complaints Management Policy to ensure your concern is treated in a transparent, timely manner. The administration team will work with you to resolve your concern.
In the first instance, please send an email to admin@indspec.com.au with your contact details and details of your concern. If your concern relates to a clinical matter, we will forward the details to the relevant anaesthetist. In all matters we will attempt to resolve your concern within two days. If this is not possible, we will provide you with an update within two days with the steps we are taking to resolve your concern. If you wish to remain anonymous, please mail or call us.
IF YOU ARE CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING ONGOING POSTOPERATIVE SYMPTOMS, PLEASE SEEK MEDICAL ADVICE FROM YOUR GP OR EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICE.
