Dr Crimmins provides anaesthesia services across a wide variety of specialties including neuroanaesthesia, plastics, ophthalmology, ENT, and orthopaedics.

Professional Experience
Dr Crimmins received her medical qualifications from the University of Queensland, completing her Bachelor of Science in 2003 and her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 2007. She has also attained a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Simulation at Monash University.

Danielle completed her anaesthetic training between 2012 and 2016 at various hospitals across Brisbane and the Gold Coast, with her fellowship completed at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in 2017. 

Danielle currently works at the Princess Alexandra Hospital as a specialist anaesthetist. Along with her theatre sessions she also runs multi-disciplinary teaching simulations. Danielle’s private practice is currently based at Greenslopes Private Hospital, where she works in orthopaedic anaesthesia. 

As part of her appointment at Princess Alexandra Hospital, Danielle does research in the area of anaesthesia for endovascular clot retrieval. She has presented nationally and internationally at meetings on this topic and is very excited and passionate about being a part of this emerging and rapidly changing area of anaesthetics. 

Other Interests

Outside of work, Danielle focuses on spending time with her family. She loves exploring the outdoors by bushwalking, and travels at any opportunity she can. She also enjoys attending art exhibitions and installations.
