Dr Tsang has particular interests in regional anaesthesia, eye surgery, trauma and orthopaedic surgery.
Professional Experience
Dr Tsang has a Bachelor’s degree in cell biology and immunology from the University of British Columbia. She completed her MBBS from the University of Sydney, and spent the first few years of her medical training in Tamworth NSW. She began her training in anaesthesia in Sydney and eventually moved to Brisbane to complete her training and undertook her fellowship year at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in regional anaesthesia. Victoria is currently a staff specialist at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and a staff specialist at The Prince Charles Hospital.
Her other areas of interest include education and mentoring junior trainees, and has been involved in research projects associated with regional anaesthesia and pain management.
Other Interests
Outside of work you will find Victoria taking her very energetic husky-malamute on long walks and hiking trails. She is also a huge foodie, and will try to re-create recipes she’s picked up from her travels.
