Dr Alfred provides anaesthesia services for most types of surgery, with a strong focus on Cardiac Anaesthesia and Urological Anaesthesia.

Professional Experience
Dr Alfred undertook his schooling and anaesthetic studies in Sydney, obtaining a Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery, as well as a Master of Surgery from the University of Sydney. He completed a fellowship year in Ontario, Canada in cardiac anaesthesia, before receiving his admission to the anaesthetic college in 2024.

Terrence returned to Sydney after completing his fellowship, then relocated to Brisbane in 2025 to begin his private practice here.

Terrence is currently working publicly at The Prince Charles Hospital, with his private work primarily based at St Andrews War Memorial Hospital Brisbane. Terrence also often works at many of the other major Brisbane private hospitals.

It is very important to Terrence to be able to help patients have an enjoyable surgical journey, no matter how large or small their surgical procedure is.

Other Interests

Prior to studying medicine, Terrence was part the Australian rowing team and represented Australia at the World Championships as well as the Beijing Olympics. Terrence still has a strong focus on exercise and enjoys cycling and pilates. Terrence also has a strong focus on family, devoting time to playing with his two daughters and walking his two dogs (spoodles).
